Dr. Brittany Fatoma
Credentialed Doula
Certified Doula Trainer
Credentialed CHW (Community Health Worker)
Hi everyone! My name is Brittany Fatoma, born and raised as a Southern Belle from Fayetteville, North Carolina. I am a proud wife of a phenomenal husband and momma to a powerhouse queen in training, my baby girl. You can catch me dancing to everything, singing all things karaoke, and creating all my favorite southern dishes.
Before joining the ranks of the Bold and Beautiful Black Birth workers, I taught for eight years in early childhood and elementary education. I also led a nonprofit that advocated for equitable education for Black and Brown children. Being a doula brings my love for children and my passion for empowering and supporting Black women together in a dynamic pairing. My doula specialties/interests include fetal loss/fetal demise, the postpartum period, staying healthy and active before, during, and after pregnancy, childbirth education, and breastfeeding support. Being a doula creates a space for me to empower women to be relentless and to honor their bodies, mind, and their spirit.
